| Timezone: | Depending on European Summer Time, 7/8 hours ahead of GMT. |
| Internet: | Typically, the more exclusive the hotel or resort, the faster the internet speeds. Budget rooms usually offer fairly laggy Wi-Fi. |
| Transport: | Roads only in Tekek and Juara. Mopeds and bicycles are available for rent. Water-taxis for hopping to neighboring kampungs. |
| Activities: | Sea-based, like SUP, snorkeling and scubadiving. However, there are some fun land-based adventures to be had as well. |
| Arriving: | Usually by ferry. There is a flight to Tioman as well. (Note: The service is currently suspended). |
