Kampung Lalang isn't actually a true village currently, although it used to be the site of a village in the olden days of Tioman. However, at the moment it's a plot of land, adjacent to the beach, within the Berjaya Resort compound bounderies.
Please note that the Mersing ferry doesn't go directly to Kampung Lalang. However, Kampung Lalang used to offer its own ferry jetty that would be used for the Mersing ferry, as well as others, to disembark their passengers, which, typically, were exclusively Berjaya Resort guests back then.
Unfortunately, the waters around the Kampung Lalang Jetty are now too shallow to support a ferry.
Still, the next jetty, the Tekek Jetty, is a mere few minutes away. So if you're going to stay at Berjaya Resort, then just disembark from your ferry at Tekek Village. You'll be collected from just opposite the Tekek Ferry Terminal by the Berjaya Resort shuttle. This shuttle service, by the way, is free of charge.

Pro Tip: Not sure which jetty to select in the booking form? You can choose any of the jetties in the form, because the ferry typically (though there's the occasional exception) goes to each of the main jetties listed.
