Hari Raya is a most important occasion celebrated by all Muslims in the world. In fact, "Hari Raya" means "day of celebration". Hari Raya Puasa is often mistaken to be the Muslim New Year by non-Muslims, but this is not correct.
Hari Raya is actually the traditional end of the fasting month also known as Ramadan. Hari Raya falls on Thursday 29th June in 2024.
So if you play your cards right, you can have a full stretch of 4 days of sheer endless holiday bliss on a serene and pristine beach.
Either way, we recommend that you book both your
hotel accommodation and your ferry in advance for Hari Raya 2024, because public holidays are the busiest times of the year, for obvious reasons.
As Hari Raya coincides with the heavy-traffic summer holiday season in 2024, demand for hotel rooms and ferry tickets is expected to be exceptionally high for this particular Hari Raya Haji period.
In addition, as Hari Raya is the time for Malay families to celebrate together, some of the family-run hostels, resorts and chalets may be closed for a week or more during Hari Raya, reducing the tight supply of available rooms further still.
All in all, it makes a lot of sense to secure your room and your ferry seats early on for the 2024 Hari Raya Holidays. You can book your hotel room
here and your ferry tickets below.

Claim your hotel room by clicking on the below Hari Raya dates.
You'll instantly see the hotel availability.
Incidentally, just one more thing to keep an eye on. Please note that the number of available rooms of hotels, resorts, bed and breakfasts and the like tend to exceed the number of available ferry tickets to any particular destination. The reason for this is that over the years, quite a few new hotels and resorts have been completed. The ferries meanwhile, have been unable to keep up with this growing number of room capacity, because the maximum number of daily ferry crossings is oftentimes restricted by sea tides, environmental regulations etc.
In short, to be safe; we recommend making certain that you book your ferry tickets early. The last thing you want is getting caught stranded, i.e. with a confirmed hotel room booking but no ferry ticket to get there.
