Families with kids won't go wrong with Legoland Malaysia Resort. In fact, that's putting it mildly, because actually, it's pretty much impossible to come up with a hotel as kid-friendly as Legoland Malaysia Resort.

Happy kids = happy parents
From the fun themes and stashes of actual Lego that can be found seemingly in every location on the Legoland Malaysia Resort property, to the kids' treasure hunts in the room, this hotel was designed from the ground up with kids in mind. Even the movies played here and there on the premises are selected just for kids.
Legoland Malaysia Resort is a veritable kids' paradise.
Your kids even have their own section in hotel room and bathroom; a great way for mum and dad to enjoy some quality time together whilst the kids are having a blast, safe and sound, just a partition away.

Let's look at some of the other aspects of Legoland Malaysia Resort.
Regrettably, the food on offer isn't quite up to par. The breakfast buffet was deemed a mere "not bad" and "overpriced" by our group. The other meals we had at the various establishments surrounding the Legoland Malaysia Resort area. Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes are available here. Along with some fast-food outlets. Don't expect anything fancy, though it's certainly not bad either.
Staff at Legoland Malaysia Resort, whilst generally hospitable and helpful, appear not as well-trained for the job as you'd expect, given Legoland Malaysia Resort's price bracket and its world-renowned lineage. That said, Housekeeping did a great job from start to finish. But, really, most of the other personnel we interacted with in the time we spent at Legoland Malaysia Resort could have been better trained.

We also found check-in time at 4 pm quite late. Since check-out time is 12 noon, we assumed that 4 hours is somehow not enough time to have the rooms up and ready for the next batch of guests. But since our room was kept in tip-top shape our entire stay, we can only put this issue down to a shortcoming by Legoland Malaysia Resort management, i.e. understaffing. Of course this is speculation on our part. In any case, check-in time should really be earlier.
Clearly, a 4 pm check-in is not reasonable, particularly since most journeys will be planned with about a lunch time arrival in mind. After reaching the hotel, I believe most guests, certainly those with kids, would appreciate a wee nap or at least a quick freshen-up. So this is something that should be improved.
Still, all things considered, it's quite safe to say that at Legoland Malaysia Resort, a jolly good time will be had by all.
Tip: If your kids are early-birds and you prefer avoiding the breakfast crowd, head down to the Legoland Malaysia Resort restaurant at 7 am.
