The confirmation email we send to you upon completing your ferry tickets booking contains a lot of information, enabling you, amongst other things, to collect your ferry tickets in Mersing. Therefore, it is important that you do actually receive this email, as well as any other subsequent emails that we send if and when required. However, spam-blockers or filters can on accassion block legitimate emails, such as our confirmation email. The details below are a guide to ensure this doesn't happen with our email.
By the way, by far the easiest way to ensure you receive our email is by copying our
email address to your address book.
To do this manually, follow the instructions below.
Microsoft Outlook
Please add our domain name (tiomanferry.com) or "from" address (@tiomanferry.com) to your Safe Senders list. To add us to your Safe Senders list:
Microsoft Outlook 2010 - On the "Home" tab, click "Junk," and then click "Junk email Options".
- On the "SafeSenders" tab, click "Add".
- In the "Enter an email address or Internet domain name to be added to the list" field, enter "tiomanferry.com".
- Click "OK".
Microsoft Outlook 2003-2007
- On the "Tools" menu, click "Options".
- On the "Preferences" tab, click "Junk email".
- On the "Safe Senders" tab, click "Add".
- In the "Add Address" field, enter "tiomanferry.com".
- Click "OK".
Missing an email? Check if our email is in your "Junk email Folder." If it is, right click on the email, select "Junk email" and click "Add Sender's Domain to Safe Senders List."
Gmail
Please add our "from" address (@tiomanferry.com) to your Gmail contacts list. To add us to your contact list:
- Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page.
- Click "Add Contact".
- Copy and paste our "From" address, "@tiomanferry.com", into the primary email address dialog box.
- Click "Save".
Missing an email? Check if our email is in the "Spam" folder:
- Click "Spam" along the left side of any Gmail page.
- If you see any tiomanferry.com email listed among the messages in this folder, check the box next to our email.
- Click the "Not Spam" button along the top.
Live.com/Hotmail.com/Outlook.com
Please add our "from" address (@tiomanferry.com) to your Safe Senders list. I.e. follow these steps:
- Open your mailbox and click the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Select "Options".
- Under "Preventing junk email" select "Safe and blocked senders".
- Select "Safe senders".
- Copy and paste "@tiomanferry.com" into the box titled "Sender or domain to mark as safe".
- Press Add to list.
Missing an email? Check if our email is in your "Junk" email Folder. If it is, open the email and click the "Not Junk" button. Next, check to see if our email address is in your "Blocked Senders" list. If you see a message from tiomanferry.com on this list, select it and click the "Remove" button. Finally, if you have not done so, add our "from" address (@tiomanferry.com) to your Safe Senders list as described above.
AOL
Please add our "from" address (@tiomanferry.com) to your Safe Senders list. To do this:
- Click "Mail Menu" and select "Address Book."
- Wait for the "Address Book" window to pop up and then click the "Add" button.
- Wait for the "Address Card for New Contact" window to load.
- Paste "@tiomanferry.com" into the "Other email" field.
- Make our "from" address the "Primary email" address by checking the associated check box.
- Click the "Save" button.
Missing an email? Check if our email is in your "AOL Spam Folder." If it is, please open the email and then click the "This Is Not Spam" button. Next, please add "@tiomanferry.com" to your address book as described above.
Yahoo!
You must set up a filter to redirect our emails and/or newsletters into your inbox:
- Open your mailbox and click on "Mail Options" (upper right hand corner).
- Select Filters.
- Click the "Add" link on the filters page.
- Update the "From Header" rule with the following two pieces of information: "contains" and "@tiomanferry.com".
- Click the "Choose Folder" pull-down menu and select "Inbox." Pick the "Add Filter" button.
Missing an email? Check if our email is in your Yahoo! "Bulk Folder". If it is, please open the email and click the "Not Spam" button. Next, check to see if the address the email was sent from is in your "Blocked Addresses" list. If you see "@tiomanferry.com" on this list, select it and click the "Remove Block" button. Finally, please set up a filter as outlined above.
In addition to the guide above, please ensure that the email address you enter into the ferry ticket reservation form is valid and doesn't contain any typographical errors. The email address used should also not relay our confirmation email to a different email address.
