By the way, just one more thing to keep in mind. Please note that on any given day, the number of rooms of Tioman's hotels, resorts, cottages etc exceeds the number of ferry seats to Tioman. The reason for this is because over the years, more and more hotel rooms have been added to Tioman's hotels and resorts, but the ferry has been unable to keep up, as the number of crossings possible per day is limited by the low water mark in the Mersing harbour. In other words, do make sure you book your ferry tickets early enough. Last thing you need is to be caught stranded in Mersing with a hotel booking in hand but no ferry ticket to get you there.
